Probably the most quoted passage in the Bible is “Let there be Light.” In Hebraic thought, light is associated with order (notice the Hebrew word or in the English word order). Genesis 1:3 can be interpreted as “Let there be order” which poetically corresponds with verse 2 that states that the creation was in “chaos.”
